South of Elm Street
At the far north of the map is the Ra Sushi Bar, offering Pacific Rim dishes and Raw Sushi in a lively atmoshphere. Bistro Zinc is a taste of Paris right here in Chicago, moderately-priced classic and contemporary French food. In the mood for Italian, try Carmines serving moderately priced food in a great atmoshphere, specialties are pasta, steaks and chops, seafood. Nearby, Tavern on Rush is a "hot spot" for locals. This Stefani restaurant is an upscale, contemporary Chicago Steakhouse offering a nice outdoor Cafe in the summer month's. A little out of the way on State you can find Mortons, one of Chicago's best Steakhouses. Back on Rush, Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse serves up steaks and chops, fresh fish, and giant lobster tails in a great setting. In the mood for fish, try Hugo's Frog Bar offering some of the best seafood in Chicago, be sure to stay for a drink at the Piano Bar. Just off Rush on Oak street is Le Passage nightclub, attached to the Drawing Room, a lounge dedicated to the art of bartending. Check out the menu of pre-prohibition cocktails.
South of Oak Street
If you are a tea fan stop in at Argo Tea for some unique drinks and flavors. Looking for something a bit stronger try Pippins Tavern, an Irish Pub that draws a fun crowd of regulars. Right next door is Downtown Dogs, one of the best places to get that Chicago style hot dog. Famous for it's deep dish pizza is Giordano's, a trip to Chicago wouldn't be complete without some deep dish. For that romantic evening try Rosebuds on Rush, serving Italian, specialties include Rigatoni with vodka sauce, and Veal marsala.
South of Erie Street
If you love Prime Rib Lowrey's islocated on east Ontario Street. Further South between Ohio and Ontario is Jbar. For more latenight action stop in for some of their signature drinks, the Live DJ keeps the night going. Located in the James Hotel. For great family Italian dining try Buca Di Beppo, one of our Kid Picks for Chicago. Also on East Grand Avenue is Joe's Seafood Prime Steak specialties include Stone crab, Key lime pie, prime steaks. The original in Miami is legendary. This is one of our favorite places in the city, better make a reservation if you want to get in for dinner. A few block down - not on our map, is a classic Italian Steakhouse Phil Stefani's 437 Rush.
