Visitor Information:

The Chicago History Museum cares for, showcases, and interprets millions of authentic pieces of Chicago and U.S. history. Popular exhibits are Dioramas, memorabilia from the Chicago World’s fair, and the Sensing Chicago exhibit in the Childrens Gallery. The eight main collection are, Architecture, Archives and Manuscripts, Books and other Published Materials, Costumes, Decorative and Industrial Arts, Oral History, Film, and Video, Paintings and Sculpture, Prints and Photographs. Current exhibits change often so visit the web site to get more information.

Monday-Wednesday
9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Thursday
9:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
Friday and Saturday
9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Sunday
12 noon-5:00 p.m.

Admission:
Adults: $14 with audio tours
Seniors (65+): $12 with audio tours
Students (13–22 with ID): $12 with audio tours
Free for children (age 12 and younger)

Visitor Tips:
The Museum is free on Mondays.
