The DuSable Museum of African-American History is the oldest museum of its type in the country and is the only major independent institution in Chicago established to preserve and interpret the historical experiences and achievements of African-Americans.
Hours:
Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 AM 5:00 PM Sundays Noon 5:00 PM
The Museum is closed on Mondays to the public between June 1 and January 2 (except for school holidays), the third Saturday and Sunday in February, Easter, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years Days.
Admission:
Adults $3.00 Students and Seniors $2.00 Children ages 6 to 13 $1.00, Children under 6, are FREE Sundays are FREE to all
