The Chicago Airport System has two major airports, Chicago O’Hare and Midway International. The airports are owned and operated by the City of Chicago. There are 56 passenger carriers operating out of 178 gates carried more than 76.5 million passengers at O'Hare. O’Hare is located about 17 miles outside of the city.

Ground Transportation at O'Hare - CTA/Metra Trains, ATS
CTA Blue Line trains operate from O’Hare to downtown and take roughly 40 minutes.
Airport Transit System (ATS) - travel between terminals at O'Hare
Misc airport shuttles also provide transportation door to door to and from O”Hare.

State and Madison to O’Hare: $30 - $35.
