Located on the University of Chicago's Hyde Park campus, the Smart Museum of Art houses a permanent collection of over 10,000 objects, spanning five millennia of both Western and Eastern civilizations. Visitor Tips: Parking is available one block from the Museum, in the University's parking garage located on the south side of 55th Street, between Greenwood and Ellis Avenues. The garage is free after 4 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.
