It is a one of a king architectural landmark building, designed by Chicago City planner and architect Daniel Burnham. 122 guestrooms and suites decorated with golds and blues, lavish fabrics and finishings: velvet pillows, a blue velvet headboard with a canopy of sheer gold fabric. The hotel is in the heart of the Theater District, between State Street Macy’s and Daley Plaza. The Atwood Cafe, serving sophisticated comfort food, is one of the city’s best restaurants.
Bottom Line: Chicago is all about architechture, and the Luxury Hotel Burnham located in the historic Reliance building is the perfect Loop hotel to get the full experience. No pool or large fitness center here, but a great hotel in the heart of the Theater District. One of the best Chicago boutique hotels.
