The W is a hip and cool hotel with a primo location for Navy Pier fun, 2 blocks away. The hotel is 33 stories and features 520 guestrooms equipped with flat panel TVs, Egyptian linens, bathrobes, minibars, and laptop compatible safes. In the public areas of the hotel you get free wireless, but you need to pay to get access in your rooms. Nice pool area, very crowded lobby, elevators can be a little slow. The Whiskey Sky Lounge has great 33rd-floor city and lake views. The hotel provides complimentary Shuttle Service within a five-mile radius.
Bottom Line: Great views close to the lake, and Navy Pier, the W is a busy hip and cool place to stay. Rooms can be a bit dark and some on the small side, but overall a nice hotel in a great location.
