Navy Pier is located in the Streeterville Neighborhood and is the most visited attraction in Chicago. Right on Lake Michigan, close to Northwestern University, is the W Chicago Lakeshore. The view of the Lake are fantastic from this trendy location within walking distance to the beach. More towards Michigan Ave is an Embassy Suites which offers larger guest suites, perfect for the business traveler, or when traveling with the family. On the Chicago River is the Sheraton Towers, only one block to Lake Shore Drive and within walking distance to Navy Pier and Michigan Avenue. The Sheraton is a large convention hotel. Up North on Ohio St. is the Doubletree, which has just completed a hugh renovation - of over 500 guest rooms have been completely updated. Stop in at the Einstein Bros Bagels shop for a quick breakfast before you leave for a day of sightseeing. Also close to Norhtwestern is the official hotel of Navy Pier, the Affinia, stylish, eclectic and only two blocks from Water Tower. Move up North and there are more Smaller Boutique Hotels in the Gold Coast, perfect for that couples getaway. To the West and you get Luxury Hotels close to Michigan Ave Shopping. Cross the River to the South and you get into the Downtown Loop where there are some great Historic Hotels close to the Business District and Theaters.
