Events 2008

There are four major seasonal events that take place annually on the Mag Mile.

During the Winter, in February there will be winter fireworks every Saturday evening in February at 6:30 p.m. over the Chicago River. Part of the Toast of the Magnificent Mile Event.

In the Spring you can enjoy Tulip Days on The Magnificent Mile (April 16 – May 31).

During the Summer months you can enjoy the Gardens of the Mag Mile with a self-guided tour (June - September).

During the Fall just before the Holiday Season, enjoy the festive lighting of more than one million lights along North Michigan Avenue is followed by a spectacular fireworks show over the Chicago River.

Free Trolley:
Pick up the trolley on the corner of Michigan Avenue in front of the Water Tower Pumping Station or at 401 North Michigan Avenue next to the Chicago River.
